Nestlé Waters North America does not privatize supplies. We use water like most businesses and our sources can either be municipal, where we are a customer, or permitted wells on private land.
Our water use, while very visible, is surprisingly small overall. We use 0.001% of freshwater used in the U.S. What makes us most unique, is that we leave much of the land we purchase undeveloped to promote water quality and provide a good habitat for plant and animal life.
